Jennifer Richmond has a vast range of legal and business affairs experience in the feature film, television, home entertainment and new media industries. Jennifer’s key practice areas include production, content acquisition, licensing and distribution, and marketing and promotions. Jennifer’s production experience touches a broad range of legal and business affairs matters for studio, public television and independent producers. Her experience includes reviewing, negotiating and drafting above-the-line and below-the-line writer, producer, director and performer agreements, underlying rights agreements, production services and co-production agreements for live-action and animated television and new media content, as well as other production related matters such as advising clients on clearance, guild, copyright and trademark. Jennifer also handles reviewing, negotiating and drafting domestic and international content acquisition and distribution agreements for television, feature film and digital properties. Her practice also involves advising clients on matters relating to marketing and promotion including contests and sweepstakes, clearance, talent and guild issues relating to marketing materials, copyright and trademark issues, as well as negotiating and drafting vendor, co-promotion, commercial tie-in and publicity agreements. Prior to joining Film & Ink Jennifer served as in-house counsel at Sony Pictures Television, Warner Bros., Public Media Group of Southern California (KCET), Upper Deck and The Walt Disney Company.
